NRL CLUBS ON THE BIG SCREEN

Daily Examiner; Grafton, N.S.W., Mar 9, 2010

Storm – The Wrestler

Best team in the NRL for slowing down the play. Led by Cameron Smith Melbourne are the best exponents of wrestling moves. Chicken- wing, grapple and the sleeper-hold will go a long way to ensure Melbourne have another crack at the title.

Eels – Lethal Weapon

One word – Jarryd Hayne. Almost single-handedly won the Eels the premiership in 2009. The Eels need to keep him on the paddock – if injured its goodnight Eels.

Saints – The Godfather

Wayne Bennett is the most influential coach in the league. Has the cattle to win but we have been saying that about Saints since 1979. Bennett’s problem is where to hide Jamie ‘speed bump’ Soward in defence.

Bulldogs – Reservoir Dogs

Known as the family club – first Big Willie undermines the club and then Sonny Bill leaves with out a goodbye. And has father time caught up with top dog Brett Kimmorley

Titans – Remember the Titans

Promised so much but failed to deliver come finals time. Player depth is a concern.

Sea Eagles – 10 Things I Hate About You

Enough said.

Broncos – A Few Good Men

Hunt gone, Taylor gone and Hodges out indefinitely
